Warranty Clerk
Purpose:
Records, and submits warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Processes warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor.
o Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.
o Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.
o Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.
o Posts credits on computer.
Qualifications:
o To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
o Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere.
o Must possess strong attention to detail.
o Working knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
o High school diploma or GED required
o Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
o Valid in-state driver's license.
o Professional personal appearance.
o Excellent communication skills.
