Eaton located in Searcy, AR has an opening for a Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift. The primary responsibility of a Production Supervisor is to lead department objectives and initiate/participate in cross-functional projects to accomplish goals associated with safety, quality, productivity, on time delivery, and continuous improvement; while focusing on removing cost from the business. This position establishes and maintains a positive employee relations environment by adherence to Eaton's Values, Ethics, and Philosophies. Additionally, the Front Line Leader clearly communicates expectations while consistently holding self and employees accountable for job related expectations.
Essential Functions:
Manufacturing Metrics
-Zero Incident Workplace Culture: Proactively implements, promotes, and maintains a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and driving accountability. Empowers all employees to take responsibility of their own safety as well as everyone across the facility. Utilizes positive behavioral based safety reinforcement to drive a zero incident safety culture. The ability to integrate technical skill sets required to identify and eliminate hazards associated with a manufacturing process and its supporting elements. Knowledge and experience in the process value stream, specifications, equipment, cycle time and capabilities
-Quality: Promotes a quality culture by demonstrating customer focus and regularly communicating customer feedback to employees to facilitate collaborative problem solving, drive continuous quality improvement, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
-On-Time Delivery: Facilitates all aspects of the product line delivery channels in the department. Responsible for on-time delivery performance and continuously focusing on improving manufacturing lead-time for the products.
-Continuous Improvement: Acts as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring continuous improvement programs by applying appropriate EBS (Eaton Business System) processes, the Continuous Improvement Framework, and manufacturing improvements to processes using problem solving tools such as ELSS (Eaton Lean Six Sigma) and 6S.
-Culture: Develops, motivates, and coaches team members on various aspects of the manufacturing process. Challenges direct reports to raise the bar and continuously learn. Motivates employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, engagement and quality through effectively utilizing available recognition channels to encourage desired results.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
Basic
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
-Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Position Criteria:
-This position requires verbal and written communication, training, facilitation and interpersonal skills well developed to effectively perform its essential functions.
-This position requires well-developed computer skills to perform its essential functions.
-Ability and willingness to work weekends and off-shifts as needed.
Preferred
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field.
-Master's degree in business or a technical field.
-Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred.
-Familiarity with machining, lean manufacturing, production planning, quality methods, or OSHA requirements preferred.
