Job Description
This is a great opportunity to be part of a market with exciting growth where Exterran is an industry leader. The incumbent will be Exterran's Aftermarket Parts and Service sales representative for the region. They will work closely with the Arklatex sales team in supporting customers in the area.
The role reports to a Kilgore, TX. based Sales Manager who the incumbent will work closely with in developing results in the sales territory. The position and office location for this role is located in the Searcy, AR. area.
Key Responsibilities:
Grow and maintain business - accountable for thirty percent (30%) or more of district AMS business plan, you are expected to target new customers, identifying competitor customers and develop an approach to drive them to Exterran. Required eighty (80%) of time actively engaged with customers, consistently interacting with entire customer base selling and supporting across territory. Achieve & report measurable sales results in alignment with goals and function using Exterran's Sales system of record. A demonstrated ability to prepare, plan, and purposefully use your time.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Natural gas compression experience ideal; industrial / heavy equipment sales experience acceptable
Local/Regional presence required; position offices in Searcy, AR. (residence must be within 40mi radius of either Searcy, AR. area).
Experienced with sales cycle
Consistency in high performance sales environments
Proven ability to set routines and achieve objectives
Understanding the industry dynamics and customer mentality
Strong ability to adhere to safety procedures
Innovative problem solver
Independent and confident
Ability to work successfully with different types of customers
Basic Qualifications
3 years of solid sales experience with an industrial product
Valid driver's license
Proficient in the use of MS Office (primarily Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
