Within approved policies and guidelines, plans, organizes, directs and controls all operations in the maintenance cost center to maximize quality, delivery and manufacturing profit and ensure a safe working environment. High school education or equivalent desired with continuing education and 5 years manufacturing experience required including supervisory management skills to perform the job. 8 years minimum previous maintenance experience is required.

Supervision (Directly Supervises)
Entire plant maintenance staff
Responsibilities (Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:)
Uses appropriate techniques to reduce material, labor and overhead costs and constantly seeks to improve productivity through efficient utilization of all resources.
Approves requisitions for issuance of maintenance items necessary for cost center operations.
Establishes action plans for self and others to accomplish specific objectives; planning proper assignments of personnel and allocating the appropriate resources.
Provides daily guidance, coordination, and discipline to all aspects of cost center operations to assure attainment of objectives; maintains, and monitors data information to assure accuracy and fairness of measures of performance.
Ensures job talks are conducted on a regular basis with staff.
Maintains adherence to Company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices to help each employee do theirEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
